Guidelines for prospective students.
The Alexander Teacher Training Courses last three years. With four terms of approximately twelve weeks each.
Training Programmes: what is required.
The three year curriculum consists 80% to 85% practical application by the student. Also, studying the books of FM Alexander and other prime teachers of the technique.
As a result of the requirements, the following achievements are gained:
Firstly, a good understanding of the primary coordinating body design.
Also, awareness of habits contrary to good use of the student is given focus.
In grasping the need to change the unreliable sense of self, this becomes self obvious.
Finally, the ability to grasp and use direction and inhibition in the student is the ultimate aim.
